Angel`s Billabong beach ( Golden Egg of Bali ) – The Billabong is a remarkable formation. The crystal clear water allows you to see the patterns and textures beneath the surface. In some areas, the water is deep enough for a little dip! It is a highly photographed spot on Nusa Penida because of how unique the landscape is.As with all tidal pools you need to arrive at the right time of day.

FROM THE BUDGET TRAVELER'S POINT OF VIEW     (visited November 2016) Budget accommodation doesn't have to be basic - relaxing by the pool on the free WIFI at the YHA. Listen up, there's a heap of DARWIN travel sites will give you bulk info about attractions, trips, where to stay etc.....but this one is slightly different from most in that it attacks the above from the point of view of a bucks-down traveler. I won't say BACKPACKER because my experience is that backpackers these days tend to be a lot more cashed up than 20 years back. Although some are still doing it on the proverbial shoestring.... LOCATION - SIZE - LAYOUT DARWIN is at the top end of the TOP END. Distance from SYDNEY - approx 3200km in a straight line: MELBOURNE abt the same:PERTH - 2700km. Info Nusa Penida.       Guyangan (Mata Air) The Guyangan water source is projected to be able to drain clean water to eight villages in Nusa Penida namely Kutampi Village, Batu Kandik, Sekar Taji, Madeg Stone, Tanglad, Pcelutan, Klumpu, and Flower Blooms. The journey from the entrance to the springs water, quite exotic, passing stairs quite a lot, iron stairs along the way down the stairs made of iron we can while enjoying the scenery is so amazing that tired did not feel especially when it came to the eyes the water paid off already tired that we experienced earlier with the natural treats are so fascinating. VISITED JUNE 2017 Near cliff bottom, MATA AIR GUYANGAN It's taken me over 20 BALI visits since 1975 to check PENIDA out. Should have gone earlier - it is terrific with some outstanding coastal and other scenery, top diving and snorkeling and despite being way more laid back and sparsely settled than mainland BALI and close neighbours NUSAS CENINGAN and LEMBONGAN, there is a good range of places to stay and general tourist facilities. Check the popular booking sites like AGODA, TIPADVISOR reports and general tourist info via GOOGLE -  you will be surprised. PENIDA is a high limestone-plateau based island a short distance to the south east of NUSAS CENINGAN and LEMBONGAN. Compared to them it is much bigger at 200sqkm abut way smaller than MAINLAND BALI - the closest point of which is near the east coast town of PADANGBAI about 15km to the north east.
